About Us
Greater Fairbanks Area Habitat for Humanity
WHAT IS APOSTLE BUILD?

1. It is a coalition of churches in our community coming together to build a home with Habitat for Humanity. This undertaking recalls the Apostles of Jesus and brings congregations together to raise the funds, hammers and prayers necessary to create a home.
2. It also provides churches with a sense   of mission-oriented identity.  Building this house will allow churches to be a proactive participant – God working through them to bless our community in the form of affordable housing.

APOSTLE BUILD CHAIR
Laurie Hyson is the chair and prime mover behind the Habitat Apostle Build. A big thank you to her and all of the Churches who are working hard to accomplish the mission!

PRAYER SUPPORT

Pray for the Apostle Build churches that they would be able to raise their pledge and schedule their crews for their Church Build Days.
For 12 congregations, or congregational clusters, to join the build. so that the project is completely sponsored by the churches in our community.
For the family – N’Kanza (Nikki) Flores and her son and daughter, Elijah (age 3) and Naiimah (age 1). Nikki is a student and works as a baker. She lives in a rental that is literally falling apart – walls are leaning, floors are not level – extremely hard to heat.
Pray for Habitat and future partner families. Pray that funding will be sufficient for the houses to be complete and more families will be served.
